LOTTE Infracell Environmental Management Charter

We pursue sustainable development for humanity and aim to contribute to a prosperous life. Accordingly, we recognize environmental values as a core element of our management activities, and in order to practice environmental management in the course of management activities and business operations, we establish this Environmental Management Charter as a standard for proper conduct and value judgment that all employees must follow. This charter is based on domestic laws including the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, the Framework Act on Environmental Policy, and the Framework Act on Carbon Neutrality and Green Growth for Coping with Climate Crisis, as well as international regulations including the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Convention on Biological Diversity. We pledge to faithfully comply with and practice this charter.

We help citizens realize their right to live in a healthy and pleasant environment, and strive to preserve the environment in the course of management activities and business operations.

We comply with the Constitution of the Republic of Korea and domestic and international environmental laws, and strive to prevent environmental pollution by establishing and enforcing in-house environmental standards that are stricter than legal standards.

We establish and implement an environmental management system by setting goals and action plans, and organizing relevant teams to realize management that fulfills social and ethical responsibilities (hereinafter "environmental management") while conserving resources and energy, using them efficiently, and minimizing greenhouse gas emissions and environmental pollution.

We strive to fundamentally reduce pollutant emissions by using raw materials with less environmental pollution, improving processes, and promoting resource conservation and recycling throughout all business activities, and to minimize harmful effects on the environment from product use and disposal.

Recognizing that the climate crisis is a common problem for all humanity, we actively participate in efforts by governments and the international community to curb the rise in global average temperatures, and strive toward achieving a carbon-neutral society.

Recognizing the importance of biodiversity, we strive to use the components of biodiversity at a pace and in a manner that does not cause a decline in biodiversity throughout all business activities, and to reduce negative impacts on biodiversity.

We strive to enhance stakeholders' access to information by periodically and transparently disclosing environmental management performance information, including greenhouse gas emissions, reduction results, and sustainable development information.

We strive to solidify win-win cooperation and achieve mutual growth by establishing and implementing measures to promote the introduction and adoption of environmental management systems by partner companies, including providing them with information on environmental management systems and performance.
